MUSIC MATTERS CONFERENCE
Fri Oct 22 and Sat Oct 23
Citadel Halifax Hotel 1960 Brunswick Street

It seems to be a time when the future of the “traditional” industrial music industry is “undeniably” bleak: the internet has ruined everything. So why is it that so many artists, managers and pundits, especially those working in Atlantic Canada, are so excited, hopeful and increasingly successful?

The Music Matters Conference returns for its fifth edition! Music Matters is a two-day conference of workshops, panels and speakers from the real world of the working music industry. The Conference takes place at the Citadel Hotel in downtown Halifax.

With our irreverent and forward-thinking focus on what is really working and how you can get there, you can expect the no-bullshit facts about the future of our industry. From touring to merchandise, going green to sponsorship, the conference is designed for real working musicians and industry folk. Music Matters programming focuses on providing delegates the very best access to local, national, and international decision makers, and all at a very affordable price.

Details coming soon.
