April Fools Lineup Repealed

So you’ve probably guessed by now that the lineup we released on Sunday April 1st was not our festival lineup, but an elaborate prank perpetrated by the overly excitable HPX staff and board. We painstakingly thought up a number of funny (somewhat inside jokey) band names to amuse ourselves and hopefully put a smile on your face.

Not to worry dear fans we are working hard on the real HPX 2012 lineup which will be announced sometime between now and whenever we get it all confirmed and we promise it will have something for everyone…unless you like celtic music in which case you’re out of luck.

To finalize, thank you for participating in our shenanigans, stay tuned to HPX and get ready for another great year of new music with the Halifax Pop Explosions 20th Anniversary happening October 16-20, 2012 – and that’s no joke.
