The Halifax Pop Explosion announces its complete 2009 line-up. Taking place October 20-24 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the five day music festival and conference features acts such as Girl Talk, Mates of State, Final Fantasy & Owen. Presented by Rogers, The Halifax Pop Explosion was founded in 1993. It has become one the country’s premiere showcases of emerging music, art and culture from Halifax, Canada and around the world. “We are proud to have put together our most ambitious festival to date,” says executive director, Waye Mason. “We have worked hard to book bigger music acts than ever before, while still offering the diverse and exciting line-up of artists that the Pop Explosion is known for.” The schedule for the festival can be viewed here.
