Halifax Pop Explosion (HPX) is proud to announce that The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Fucked Up, Chad VanGaalen, The Thermals, Suuns, Titus Andronicus, and The Rural Alberta Advantage are among the first acts confirmed for its 2011 line-up.

We have been hard at work searching out and booking the best new music out there all the while listening to what the festival fans want us to bring in and this lineup is a reflection of that.  While this announcement is a large portion of our festival headliners we still have a few rather large tricks up our sleeves that will blow your minds even further.
