Place to Eat: The Good Food Emporium- get the Ghettosocks Sandwich with a spinach salad- delicious!

Place to See: Museum of Natural History- go see Gus, the 89 year old tortoise!

Place to Sea: Blomidon/Cape Split- about an hour out of town in the Annapolis Valley- completely awesome!

Place to Art: Eye Level Gallery

Place to Buy Tunes: Select Sounds- be prepared to dig through STACKS of vinyl.

Place You Won’t Find Otherwise: Dressed in Time- great vintage finds!

Place to See: Cliche, but Public Gardens if you’re not from here.

Place to Sea: the look-off at the end of the Purcell’s Cove Road (hickeys happen here) and Crystal Crescent Beach (nudes!)

Place You Won’t Find Otherwise: Halifax Folklore Center (old guitars, new guitars, cozy musical atmosphere- wow!) and the Black Market (hip, hippie and hipster fashion combined in one artsy, incense filled room!)
