Alayna Kolodziechuk is a lawyer at entertainment and media law firm Taylor Oballa Murray Leyland LLP. Alayna provides a range of business law services to the firm’s clients including corporate-commercial law, privacy law and charities law. Alayna is a graduate of Dalhousie University (J.D.) and McMaster University (Combined H.B.A) and is called to the bar in Ontario, Québec, and Nova Scotia. Professional highlights for Alayna include teaching business law at the Dalhousie University School of Management, and consulting on C-51 the Anti-Terrorism Act on behalf of the Canadian Bar Association privacy bar. She has also successfully appeared before the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada as volunteer legal counsel and is a regular guest speaker for community groups. Currently she is a board member for Paprika Theatre Festival in Toronto. Alayna is active in theatre as a playwright and director with her work having been shown at The Betty Oliphant Theatre (National Ballet School), Theatre Aquarius, and The Bus Stop Theatre.
