Manito Ahbee Festival/Indigenous Music Awards

Jacquie Black is proud of her Ojibway heritage and lives on Treaty 1 territory in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  She has worked on numerous projects, productions and programs that support, promote and showcase creative expression and storytelling through music and television.  

Supporting the arts has always been a passion of Jacquie’s and she is one of the original team members that produce the Manito Ahbee Festival and the Indigenous Music Awards, that will celebrate its 15th year in 2020.  

Jacquie continues to open her life and career to experiences and opportunities that bring positive influence to artistry and community.
